Yasir Qadhi On American Foreign Policy And The Rise Of ISIS

Muslim American Islamic scholar Yasir Qadhi faces his share of death threats, from not only the right-wing in America but also now from the extremist ISIS organization.  In the following video he goes into depth on the reasons why ISIS emerged, the Iraq War and what part US policy has played in creating the conditions that gave birth to the group.

It is a definite must watch.

    Have the ISIS and their e-clowns even heard about what Islam is? Arrogance is one of the worst sins yet they are filled with it. There is NO joking (sarcasm) or making fun allowed in Islam. They film the brutal and illegal executions of their victims which is haram on so many levels and boast about it like professional assassins? Where does Islam allow this? They declare legit scholars as apostates? Have they not heard it will bounce back at them?

    Those who can’t even uphold basic Islamic ethics and morals claim to be its champions…. what irony!

    if anybody is to blame i think i would blame Paul Bremer, the ideot that thought it would be a great idea to put hundreds of thousand of soldiers out a job , the debathafction was the fuel for insurgency in iraq

    Mainstream is mainstream, logically those with the most power, wealth, access, constituency will get their narrative(s) out there to various audiences.

    As for ISIS being created and funded by the US? What does that mean? To what level/extent do you mean? To the average ears it sounds a bit Alex Jones/Info Wars-ish.

    I think it’s totally fair and reasonable per the evidence to say ISIS was created because of the US invasion of Iraq, that there has been clear collusion between Western and Israeli intelligence services/state apparatuses on several levels when it comes to individuals and groups such as ISIS; whose rise they view as an opportunity.

    However, questions linger: to what extent have they trained, encouraged/facilitated recruitment and treated wounded fighters? Why are they doing such things? How much of this is actually blowback considering Pentagon plans to divide and rule the Middle East, http://www.middleeasteye.net/columns/pentagon-plan-divide-and-rule-muslim-world-1690265165 Easy answers such as “US created them” leaves other actors off the hook and is also problematic when one considers US strategy in the region and also denies agency to a whole swathe of people.

    I don’t think there is enough evidence to say that some US cabal created and funds ISIS, (actually they seem to be making billions according to reliable sources), however there is enough to challenge the main story (which Yasir Qadhi was doing by the way) which is these guys appeared out of nowhere and are a result of Islam.

    Although I am against the death penalty I can’t help but i think it would be better just to air drop him into ISIS territory armed … unarmed I don’t care for the details..lol better yet just drop him and try to land him On an ISIS fighter.

    I appreciate Yasir Qadhi very much. Google muftis calling him apostate or kafir are nothing more than insects who usually only pretend to be “true Muslims” to satisfy their conscience just after doing something haraam e.g. watching porn. It is like a pendulum effect, do something sinful on one tab and declare others apostates for not supporting violence on the other.

    I’ve reported this twitter user. I think everyone should.
    Economic, social, sexual or other types of deprivation lead to such mindset and then they hijack MY religion to justify the unlawful and criminal ways to satisfy their desires. I wouldn’t be able to hold back if I ever came across such a person face to face.

    This guy seems to really know what the deal is. Following the disbanding of the Iraqi Army putting thousands of soldiers out in the street with no jobs or income was one of the largest blunders.

    What an ironic tweet. Abu Samir’s organization is known for their sweet speeches (attracting many foreign fighters) but secretly holding hearts of wolves.

    Nothing to take away from Yasir Qadhi but I always wonder why it is never mainstream to contest what the main story is and to explain some alternatives (referred to as the “conspiracy theories” ) – one of them being that ISIS is created and funded by the US.
